How FISTT works for people getting help and for the experts giving it. If your question isn’t here, write to support@fisttapp.com.
About FISTT
FISTT is an expert consultancy platform that connects you with verified experts for real-time problem solving in code, SAP, IT and studies. You talk to an expert live, by video call with chat, and work through the problem together. From doubt to done.
FISTT is run by Fistt Private Limited and is available in India. Prices are in Indian rupees (₹).
There are two ways to get help. Instant consultation: pick an expert who is online and call them straight away, paying per minute. Scheduled consultation: post your problem, compare the offers experts send, accept one at a fixed price, and meet at the agreed time later that day.
Every consultation happens in the FISTT app, and you can move a call to your laptop's browser with the Laptop Companion.
Anyone aged 15 or over can get help on FISTT. If you are between 15 and 18, you may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Experts must be at least 18.
No. FISTT is a technology platform: experts are independent and give advice in their own capacity. FISTT verifies experts but does not endorse or guarantee their advice, so use your own judgement before acting on it.
Consultations
For help right now, open an expert who is online and call them. The expert has 30 seconds to accept, and the call starts as soon as they do.
For help later today, create a post: describe the problem, choose up to five categories, attach any photos or documents, and pick a start and end time on 15-minute marks, at least 15 minutes from now. Experts who can help send you offers, and you accept the one you want. The time and price are then fixed.
Each expert's profile shows a Verified badge, their title and bio, skills, languages, years of experience, consultations completed, ratings and reviews from past clients, their per-minute fee and whether they are available now. On Home you can sort and filter experts by category, skills, fee, rating, experience, language and who is available now, or search by name, skill or expertise.
For a scheduled consultation, each offer also carries the expert's message about how they would approach your problem.
Experts are verified before they can take consultations, but it is still up to you to judge whether an expert suits your problem.
You and the expert meet on a live video call. Cameras start off, so you can turn yours on when you are ready. You can mute, chat, share photos and files up to 50 MB, and move the call to your laptop to share your screen. A REC badge shows when the call is being recorded.
Both of you are expected to keep it respectful and lawful. FISTT may not be used for exam, test or interview cheating, or any other academic dishonesty.
An instant consultation lasts as long as you both stay on it. It ends when either of you ends it, or when your wallet balance runs out.
A scheduled consultation lasts the length you chose when you posted it, in 15-minute steps. You can join from 5 minutes before the start until the booked time ends, and rejoin within that window if you drop out.
Yes, once per booking, and it is free. Either of you can ask for a new time at least an hour ahead, up to an hour before the booked start. The other person has to accept it; if they don't answer an hour before, the booking stays at its original time.
If the expert doesn't join a scheduled consultation, the money held for it is released back to your wallet in full, automatically. You don't need to ask.
Yes. After a consultation you can rate it from 1 to 5 stars and add a comment, straight away or later from its details. To report an expert, use Report in the app: FISTT reviews every report within 48 hours, and the expert never learns who filed it.
Pricing & payments
Each expert has a per-minute fee, shown in rupees on their profile before you call or book. There is no subscription.
An instant consultation is billed per minute at the expert's rate, for the time the call is connected. A scheduled consultation has a fixed price agreed up front: the expert's rate times the length you asked for. Any applicable taxes are shown at the point of payment.
FISTT does. Fees are set and managed by FISTT based on the expert's experience, expertise, performance and other evaluation criteria, so the fee you see is the fee you pay.
You pay from your FISTT wallet, which you recharge in the app from ₹49 upwards. Payments are processed by Razorpay, a payment aggregator licensed by the Reserve Bank of India. FISTT never stores your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking details.
Wallet balance can't be transferred to another person and isn't redeemable for cash, except where the law requires.
To start an instant call you need at least 5 minutes' worth of the expert's fee available in your wallet. The app warns you when less than 2 minutes of balance is left, and the call ends automatically when it runs out.
To book a scheduled consultation you need the full price available. It is held in your wallet when you accept the offer and charged when the consultation ends.
Cancellations & refunds
Yes, before it starts. Cancelling is free for 15 minutes after you accept an offer. After that a cancellation charge applies, and it grows with how much of the time between booking and the start has passed, up to the full price at the start time. The rest of the held amount goes back to your wallet.
Moving the booking to a later time first doesn't lower the charge. If the expert cancels, you pay nothing.
If the expert joins and you don't, the consultation counts as missed and you are charged the full price, because the expert kept the time for you.
Email support@fisttapp.com within 48 hours of the consultation ending. FISTT reviews each request against the consultation records.
Refunds may be given when the expert didn't attend or barely took part, a technical fault on FISTT's side stopped the consultation, the expert behaved seriously wrongly or misrepresented their credentials, or you were charged in error. They aren't given because you disagree with the advice or didn't get the outcome you wanted.
An approved refund may be full or partial, and paid to your wallet or your original payment method.
Laptop Companion
The Laptop Companion, FISTT's web companion, moves a call from your phone to your laptop's browser, so you can share your screen and work side by side with your expert. There is nothing to download.
During the consultation, tap the laptop icon in the call controls. The app shows a 6-digit Companion Code. On your laptop, go to fisttapp.com/join and type the code in. The call moves to the browser and your phone is disconnected from it; leave the laptop to hand the call back to your phone.
Experts can do the same from the FISTT Expert app.
A laptop or computer with a modern web browser that allows camera, microphone and screen sharing. Screen sharing starts from the browser; the phone apps show a shared screen but don't share their own.
No — keep it to yourself. A Companion Code works only for your consultation, can be used once and expires after 5 minutes, and stops working when the consultation ends. Anyone with it could join your call, so never share it.
Recording & privacy
Only with the consent of both people, given once when you create your account. If either of you hasn't consented, nothing is recorded.
When a consultation is recorded, a REC badge shows in the call and only the audio is captured, never video. It is transcribed and turned into an AI-written summary, and the audio is deleted as soon as transcription finishes. You'll find the summary and full transcript with the consultation afterwards; they are visible only to you, the other participant and, where needed for support or safety, FISTT's support team.
Yes, at any time. Write to support@fisttapp.com. Withdrawing doesn't affect recordings made before you withdrew.
Messages and files shared in a consultation are kept for 90 days, then permanently deleted, unless you ask for earlier deletion or the law requires longer.
The other person in a consultation sees your display name and profile photo. Experts' profiles, fees and ratings are visible to all clients. FISTT doesn't sell, rent or trade your personal data, and uses no advertising or tracking cookies on its website.
Account & security
With your email and password, with your +91 mobile number and a 6-digit one-time code, or with Google. On iPhone you can also continue with Apple. Keep one personal account; accounts can't be shared or transferred.
Data travels between your device and FISTT over TLS 1.2 or higher, and sensitive data such as payout details is encrypted at rest. Keep your login details private, and if you think someone else has used your account, tell support@fisttapp.com straight away.
In the app, go to Profile, then Delete Account, and type DELETE to confirm. You're signed out and your account is hidden straight away, and your personal data is permanently erased after 30 days, except records the law requires FISTT to keep, such as payment records.
You can't delete an account during a consultation in progress, or while money is left in it. Email support@fisttapp.com to settle a remaining balance first.
Yes. You can change your name, date of birth, email, phone number and photo in your profile, and ask support@fisttapp.com for a summary or a copy of your data. FISTT acknowledges requests within 7 days and responds within 30.
For experts
Apply in two short steps on this website: your name, phone and email, then your skills and your résumé (PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5 MB). FISTT reviews your expertise and gets back to you.
In the FISTT Expert app you then complete four steps: your public profile, skills and years of experience, compliance (résumé, optional LinkedIn and the expert terms), and a final review before you submit for verification.
FISTT reviews each expert's profile, résumé and LinkedIn, and confirms they have agreed to the expert terms and pricing, usually within 1–2 business days. You're told by email, and if an application isn't approved you're given the reason and can resubmit. FISTT may ask for identity documents, qualifications or other proof where needed.
Verification supports trust on the platform; it isn't an endorsement of an expert's advice.
You must be at least 18, pass verification, and hold any licence or qualification your field legally requires. You work on FISTT as an independent professional, not an employee, and are responsible for your own taxes.
Switch to Online on the Home tab to receive instant calls, and answer each one within 30 seconds. Going Offline stops instant calls only; your bookings aren't affected.
Open posts in your skills appear on Home. Send an offer with a message about your approach; the duration and price come from the post and your fee.
You earn the consultation price less FISTT's platform fee, which is shown on the receipt of every consultation. If a client books and doesn't join, you're paid as booked; if a client cancels late, you receive a share of the cancellation charge.
Add your bank account and UPI ID under Bank & payout in the app. Withdrawals open there when payouts launch.
Earnings from a completed consultation go through a 48-hour review period, in case of a complaint or refund request. After that they become eligible for payout, and eligible earnings are paid automatically on the second Friday of each month, by bank transfer or UPI.
Earnings under an open dispute, refund request or investigation can be held until it is resolved.
You can cancel a booking before it starts, with a reason the client will see. The client gets a full refund and you earn nothing for it. If you don't join a booked consultation, the client is refunded in full automatically.
No. Arranging consultations or payments outside FISTT with clients you met through it breaks the Terms and can lead to suspension, withheld earnings and removal from the platform.
Apps & platforms
FISTT is coming soon to iPhone and Android: the FISTT app for people getting help and the FISTT Expert app for experts. The Laptop Companion runs in a web browser on your computer, with nothing to install.
The apps aren't in the App Store or Google Play yet. Experts can already apply on this website, so they're ready when FISTT launches.
Troubleshooting
Check you typed all 6 digits. A code expires after 5 minutes, works once, and stops working when the consultation ends, so if yours has run out, tap the laptop icon in the call again for a new one.
Yes. A scheduled consultation stays open until its booked time ends, so you can rejoin from the app. An instant call stays open for 2 minutes after the last person leaves, and you're billed for that time too.
Check the app, or your browser for the Laptop Companion, is allowed to use your camera and microphone, and that you aren't muted. Cameras start off in every call, so turn yours on from the call controls.
An instant call ends automatically when your wallet balance runs out. Top up before your next call to keep talking longer.
